Born and raised in Lancaster County, Jay's work reflects his personal experience of the cultures, attitudes and traditions unique to each varied locale represented in his paintings. He primarily works in oil and also mixed media.
He is also able to use his talents to aid in the prop and set design and construction at the Millennium Theatre in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
