Mary has lived on a farm near New Holland, Lancaster County her entire life. She has had no formal art training. She and her family are Old Order and still go to Sunday services in their horse and buggy just as their families have done for generations.
Mary's work is genuine and authentic.
Her work is an intentional earnest effort.
The frames for her paintings are hand made by her father from old sheds and school houses.
