Bart Phillips Sloane majored in art under the instruction of Frederick Gill at Philadelphia's Central High School.  It was the combination of this training and talent that won him a four-year scholarship to Philadelphia College of Art.  There, he majored in Illustration under Henry C. Pits and Albert Gold and developed his watercolor techniques in the classes of Frank Copeland and W. Emerton Heitland.

 

He has designed and painted scenery for television, and written, designed and produced animated motion picture of industry and government.
